One of the most common questions students ask when starting yoga is: How often should I practice and what’s the best plan for me? At Instrumental Yoga in Jamaica Plain, we designed our membership options to make yoga accessible, affordable, and sustainable for every lifestyle. Our philosophy is simple: Get your mind and body in tune.
Drop In Classes – $25 per class.
Drop ins are great for anyone with a busy schedule who cannot commit to regular visits. At $25 per class, this option works best for occasional practice or when you want the flexibility of showing up once in a while.
Intro Pass – $40 for Two Weeks Unlimited
If you are new to Instrumental Yoga, this is the best way to get started. The Intro Pass gives you two weeks of unlimited classes for just $40. That breaks down to less than $3 per day if you came daily. Even if you practice only a few times a week, you will still get excellent value and the chance to try out all of our different class styles before choosing your routine.

Monthly Unlimited – $150 per month
For anyone practicing six or more times per month, this is the most cost effective option. Since six drop ins equal $150, everything beyond that is essentially free. On a 30 day billing cycle, the monthly unlimited comes out to just $5 per day for unlimited yoga. If you want the freedom to practice as often as you like, this plan is your best choice.

Class Cards – Flexible Value for Consistent Students
Class cards give you discounted drop in pricing with a set timeframe to encourage regular practice.
Costs $110 which is $22 per class. You save $3 each class and the pass is valid for 5 weeks. This is ideal for students practicing once per week.
Costs $200 which is $20 per class. You save $5 each class and the pass is valid for 8 weeks. This is a great option if you are averaging two classes per week.
Because of the built in discount, extensions are not available. However, any unused sessions can roll into your next card so you never lose them.
One Week Unlimited – $65
This pass is perfect for out of town visitors or anyone who wants to immerse themselves in yoga for a short time. For a flat rate, you can take unlimited classes for seven days.
How Often Should You Practice Yoga?

Every student’s journey is unique, but here are some general guidelines.
Practicing once a week helps you build familiarity and maintain balance in a busy life.
Practicing two to three times per week creates steady progress in strength, flexibility, and stress relief.
Practicing four or more times per week supports deeper transformation, consistency, and community connection.
Consistency makes a difference. Our post on Why Instrumental Yoga at Forest Hills is the Best Choice for Yoga in Jamaica Plain explains how location and accessibility can help you stay committed.
At Instrumental Yoga in Jamaica Plain, the most important thing is finding a rhythm that feels supportive and sustainable. Whether that means once a week or every day, we are here to help you get your mind and body in tune.
