Instrumental Yoga teaches Hatha Yoga in Boston. This practice is a dynamic 90-minute moving meditation lead by a verbal dialogue, and is approachable for all levels including beginners.
Class starts with a standing deep breathing exercise, followed by stretching, balancing, and strength building postures.
After the standing series, we move into a restorative floor series that combines deep relaxation between the postures.
Go slow. We do two sets of each posture. The first set is the warm up set to explore your range of motion. The second set is an opportunity to deepen your posture, and receive guidance from the teacher to help improve your technique.
